The Local Government Services (LGS) team is part of the Financial Markets division. LGS is responsible for executing TCorp’s mandate in the Local Government sector, to lend to approved councils and provide financial advice to councils on investment management, debt management, procurement and financial planning issues.
The Analyst is responsible for providing operational support to the LGS team including the processing of credit applications, analysis of financial statements, production of financial models, preparation of annual reviews of existing clients and completion of benchmarking activities.
The role requires strong credit and analytical skills, sound knowledge of cash flow lending ratios and financial statements, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
To succeed in this role, you should have relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant financial services experience, relevant experience assessing credit applications, along with working knowledge of Treasury and Investment management products.
