Opportunity overview

Working closely with our Philanthropy team, across our national business, you will be responsible for various administration matters such as research, grants analysis and reporting. The role does require a very well organised person with strong computer and data base management skills along with the ability to deal with a cross section of clients and to be comfortable in representing the philanthropy team at various networking and marketing events.
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinating the documentation for various foundations, liaising with the compliance team on all outcomes and action points
  • Corresponding with our various other stakeholders such as not-for-profit organisations and philanthropic sector
  • Assist with the preparation of client invoices, maintaining effective client files and grants on our CRM management database
  • Processing of all correspondence to grants, payments and setting up new client profiles
  • Provide marketing assistance with communication, preparation of all marketing materials and events

Selection Criteria

The preferred candidate will have a strong understanding and a genuine passion for philanthropy and or the community sector. Ideally, you will have some knowledge or experience in Philanthropy or Not for Profit environments and be seeking to take the next step in your career path. You will need to demonstrate the following to be considered for this role:   

  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal skills are imperative for this role as you will be liaising with various clients and stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Database management and documentation
  • Project management, organisational and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team, flexibly and outside of business hours when required
  • Degree in Community Development, Social Services, Research or Communications will be well regarded.
